Stour Valley Academy student Gabby Rivers will open this year’s LeeStock Festival after winning an annual Battle of the Bands competition.
The 13-year-old from Glemsford triumphed in the challenge on Friday evening. She will join a LeeStock line-up on May 28 and 29 that includes one of her favourite bands, The Feeling. She said: “I love going to gigs and music festivals and I am so excited to be given the chance to be opening LeeStock, supporting The Feeling.”
