Final plans are being made for a fundraising garden party, on Friday, June 22, at Ickworth House.
It is being held by the 8th Marquess of Bristol and other trustees of the church on the estate, near Horringer, and starts at 6pm in the Italianate Gardens, finishing at 9pm. Money raised will go towards the church.
There will be a draw with prizes supplied by local businesses and individuals including the Angel Hotel, Ickworth Hotel, Glasswells, a bottle of House of Commons wine and signed books from Griff Rhys Jones, Bill Wyman and the Marquess of Bristol.
There will also be a short auction with three items on offer a wine-tasting at home for 12 people from Nethergate Wines, a week in a villa in Spain from Fine & Country and a signed Chelsea football shirt with a certificate of authenticity.
The church held its first summer concert on Saturday, June 9, the fifth year the choir have sung at the church and the next concert will be on Sunday, July 1, with the Chedburgh Community Choir.
