The songs and voices of Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, Glenn Frey, Bernie Leadon, Randy Meisner and Don Felder were lovingly recreated and performed to a sold out audience.
And didn’t they love every single minute of an outstanding two-hour show dedicated to the music of The Eagles.
The six-piece Illegal Eagles are the world’s official number one Eagles tribute acts and it was a nostalgic evening which contained 19 of their famous songs from “Take It Easy” to “Desperado”, “How Long” to “Lyin’ Eyes”, “New Kid in Town’ to “Love Will Keep Us Alive” and “Life In The Fast Lane” to their finale tune the iconic “Hotel California”.
The phenomenal group of musicians have been touring for over two decades and remain true fanatics of the famous band and their longevity and continued international acclaim are due in no small part to their extraordinary mastery of the band’s distinctive sound.
Mike Baker, Garreth Hicklin, Trev Newnham, Christian Phillips, Greg Webb and Tony Kiley take a bow … it was an extraordinary concert which is to be repeated tonight.
