THERE are fears today that Edward and John Grimes will have to cancel their appearance at Ipswich’s Christchurch Park this Friday after the former’s horror fall at T4 On The Beach yesterday.
It was first thought the 18-year-old singer had broken his leg while performing their Ghostbusters routine at the event in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset. However, a spokeswoman confirmed he has torn his knee ligaments and left hospital this morning.
The injury happened when he twisted his leg during a tricky move. Grabbing his leg he managed to stand up and performed the rest of the segment on his knees and by hopping around the stage.
High fiving John as he finished Edward came off stage and was taken by ambulance to a local hospital accompanied by his brother. More news is expected tomorrow.
