Indie rock band Kaiser Chiefs are returning to Newmarket Nights for the second year running, it has been announced.
The Brit Award-winning group, famed for their chart topping hits such as I Predict A Riot, will perform at the racecourse on Friday, July 15.
A statement from the band, led by BBC1’s The Voice coach Ricky Wilson read: “We can’t wait to headline Newmarket Racecourses and to be a part of the venue’s 350th anniversary celebrations. Last year’s sell out show was a lot of fun, 2016 will be even better.”
The town is celebrating 350 years of horse racing this year, with a series of events and promotions.
Jess Glynne, Little Mix, Tears for Fears, Busted, Will Young and The Corrs have also confirmed dates for Newmarket this summer.
General sale tickets for Kaiser Chiefs will be on sale at 8am on Friday through the website.
Tickets start at £39 for an adult and £18 for under 18s.
