IPSWICH’S Regent will stay closed for a few more days after bosses decided to take advantage of having the scaffolding in place to undertake further remedial works.
The theatre had to postpone Thin Lizzy and Alexandra Burke earlier this month to repair ornamental plaster on the ceiling. Rather than postpone this Saturday’s performance by Rumours of Fleetwork Mac the show will now take place at the town’s Corn Exchange.
Burke will come to the Regent on February 24. Bosses hope to announce a rescheduled date for Thin Lizzy shortly.
