Suffolk Coastal

Ride smart is a fun and safe way to introduce young riders to the world of cycle sport.

Led by a former British Cycling Coach, the session offers fun and challenging cycling activities that will help children acquire balance, co-ordination and

tactics to enable them to take part in an exciting race finale.

Tomorrow’s session is specifically for beginners and takes place at the Memorial Field, Rendham Road, Saxmundham, IP17 1EJ from 10am to midday, and is suitable for eight to 12 year olds.

Circus Hassani in Southwold brings together hand balancing acts, foot juggling, aerialist acrobatics and family-friendly comedy.

Performances take place all this week - with shows at 2pm and 5pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. And at 2pm on Tuesday and Saturday.

Tickets cost £10 for adults, £8 for children and £32 for a family or £6 with Suffolk Secrets or Southwold Lettings special offer.

At RSPB Minsmere, near Dunwich, you can find out what our local owls been eating. Join the team as they dissect barn owl pellets collected by the Suffolk Community Barn Owl project and discover what small creatures they have been hunting and feeding upon. You’ll be amazed at what you find.

Sessions run from 10am to 4pm, no booking required.

Foxburrow Farm, in Melton, Woodbridge is offering a beetle bonanza fun day from 10.30am to 12.30pm.

Visit Ipswich Museum and drop by the Discovery room and use a microscope and video cameras to discover more about treasure, coins, bones, teeth, bugs and butterflies.

There is family swimming fun at Crown Pool from 10.30am to midday, and the inflatable slide will be out between 2pm and 3pm (suitable for children aged eight and over).

Or children aged seven to 14 can try table tennis and basketball at Gainsborough.

At Northgate there is action throughout the day including junior athletics, athletics, bikeability course, playground games and family rollerskating.

Pre-schoolers can enjoy the softplay session at Whitton, while older children can join football, dance or basketball sessions.

And at Maidenhall there is family roller-skating or the summer basketball roadshow. Waveney

Wind in the Willows is the there for the activities, games and crafts being hosted at Carlton Marshes Education Centre, Carlton and Oulton marshes, Lowestoft tomorrow.

The fun takes place between 10am and midday and is suitable for children aged three upwards.
