IF If you’re in the mood for a dance and if you get the chance, catch the UK’s leading ABBA tribute band at the Spa Pavilion tonight.
Boastings a six-piece band, non-stop dancing and dazzling costumes, ABBA Forever is as close to seeing the originals on stage as you will ever get.
Featuring all the classics such as Mamma Mia, Waterloo and Dancing Queen, they’ve even passed the toughest test there is for an ABBA tribute group – a Swedish audience!
“We were nervous about how Swedish audiences would react to us performing as ‘their’ band,” said founder Jane Ellis-Forshaw of their first appearance in the super group’s homeland.
They didn’t need to worry; they got a standing ovation and have since sold out five tours of the country with audiences stating they’re just like the real thing.
ABBA Forever are at Felixstowe’s Spa Pavilion from 7.30pm tonight.
