A Suffolk soprano singer has been asked to record an album for the Czech President who described her as an “angel” following a performance to dignitaries in Prague last year.
Christina Johnston said the request for her to reproduce the concert she gave at the Presidents of EU Summit Eastern Partnership, had topped off a “crazy year”.
The former Framlingham College student has moved to the Czech capital, where she says the past 12 months “has been a whirlwind ... filled with excitement and adventure”.
Christina will also be recording her debut album with the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and features in Disney’s Aldabra, which premieres at Cannes in May.
She returns to East Anglia for a concert in Norwich on April 18. Visit www.preluderecords.co.uk for tickets.
