A branch of fashion retailer Joules in an east Suffolk town has closed down permanently.

Signs in the Woodbridge store in the town's Thoroughfare say the store has closed down permanently.

A poster placed in the shop's window reads: "This store is now closed.

"We'd like to thank you lovely lot for supporting us over the years.

"And remember, you can always find us online at joules.com."

The Joules sign on the front of the building has also been taken down.

The fashion retailer has also closed its stores in Ipswich town centre and Southwold in recent months.

In November it was announced the company was set to go into administration, which put dozens of jobs in Suffolk at risk

However in December it was revealed that all of Suffolk's stores would remain open after the company was taken over by Next for a sum of £34million.
