Drivers will face a 42-mile diversion this week as a major road in west Suffolk is closed over nights.
The A143 between Haverhill and Bury St Edmunds will be closed between 7pm and 5am from Wednesday until Saturday while urgent road repairs are carried out.
The road closure was announced last week with the official diversion route being 42 miles long and expected to take around an hour to complete.
The diversion route takes drivers along the A143 to Bury St Edmunds, then onto the A134 towards Long Melford before cutting through the village and going towards Haverhill via Clare, and vice versa.
